José Pernas García

J. José Pernas García is Head Lecturer of Administrative Law at the University of Coruña. He develops his research on Environmental Law and Public Procurement Law. He has worked on several European, state and regional research projects, and has spoken at various congresses, seminars and masters at various Universities. Throughout his university career he has published numerous studies on the environment, in particular on Community Law, environmental protection instruments, marine pollution and economic freedoms and the environment. He has published articles in journals and chapters of books on Environmental law, mainly on the issues of Community Law, industrial permits, marine pollution and economic freedoms and the environment. He is a member of the International Academy of Comparative Law at The Hague, president of the Foro Iberoamericano de Derecho Administrativo (Latin American Forum of Administrative Law), president of the Academic Council of the law firm Cremades&Calvo-Sotelo and president of the Asociación Española de Ciencias Administrativas (Spanish Association of Administrative Sciences).
